Ive stated using genki 1 but I cant remember the first 14 greetings that im supposed to memorise before the first lesson. I was going to start one of those large anki decks but im not sure if thats the right step?

Ive Just started Genki 1 and the very first words before lesson are impossible to memorise. I just press "hard" every single time becsuse I dont know them. Am I doing something wrong?
