I spent a week working and slow-traveling in Shangarh. We survived a 30hr power cut, found wild Guchhi, and saw the best sunsets of my life.

A few photos from our trek to the highest point in the area. It’s known as the "Singing Hill" because of how the wind moves through the trees along the ridge. A very quiet, beautiful walk if you find yourself in Chamba.

Hi everyone,

I’ve been dealing with a migraine that has been going on almost continuously for the last 3–4 weeks. It’s mostly on one side (eye, temple, jaw, ear, neck). Earlier it was more intense, but now it feels like a constant dull pain that never fully goes away.

My doctor recently started me on preventive medication:

Topiramate (Topaz) – started at 25 mg, now 50 mg

Propranolol (Provanol)

It’s been a few days on these, and while the pain is less severe, it’s still there every day—almost like the migraine is “blocked” but not gone.

I also have:

Eye twitching

Jaw pain (especially in the morning)

Tingling in hands and feet

Slight brain fog

I wanted to ask:

Has anyone else had a migraine last this long continuously?

Did preventives like topiramate/propranolol take time to work for you?

How long did it take before the daily pain actually went away?

Would really appreciate hearing others’ experiences because this is honestly very exhausting.

Thanks in advance 🙏

Had to wait all night to hike down and find it first thing this morning. It survived without a scratch... because it landed perfectly on a discarded diaper.
