Hey guys. Dev, songwriter and producer here.

Recently, after spending days tracking and mixing a song, the first question I get is often: "Cool song. Are the lyrics A.I.-generated too?" I actually like A.I. for workflow stuff, but generative A.I. is putting genuine producers under general suspicion. It sucks, and, as far as I know, our standard DAWs don’t really offer a solution for this.

So, I started coding my own DAW to solve this natively. (Yes, I know, it’s a huge project, but the prototype is quite encouraging) The core idea: Because the DAW knows your routing and signal flow, it quietly embeds a robust digital watermark into the audio while you work. On export, you get a "Trust Pack" – basically a cryptographic receipt proving your human workflow with a multi-level label – compatible with C2PA.

I need a sanity check before I get really deep into the matter. Are you guys dealing with this A.I. suspicion too? Would a built-in proof-of-work feature actually be useful to you, or do you get the feeling that other DAWs are already tackling this issue?
