Hello everyone. I am requiring advice and assistance (opinion) on what to do for recovery.

Intro: so a little about me first. I (33M) a trying to play soccer. I am not a noob when it comes to soccer mentally. Or better said, I am not completely clueless. I have decent touch for someone that’s has never played for a team growing up. I do suffer from tactic ability a little since I have not been on the pitch in a game a lot.

Issue: my current issue atm is that every time I finish a 6 v 6 game, the muscles next to my shins are always tights/swollen/flared. I don’t consider myself fat but I do have done weight on me. I weight an average of 180 pounds and if you look at me waist down or chest up, I don’t look fat. I have a tummy and that’s where most of my weight is.

Advice I’m looking for: what can I do to lessen the pain/swelling of said muscles? What exercises can I do to strengthen my adductors/abductors? How can I increase my stamina? How to improve my shots? I have the placement/accuracy (for the most part) I’m only lacking power.

My goal is to become a better player tactically, and physically. I currently am playing as a center/midfielder
