I have the beginning of a classical song stuck in my head. It is a quick series of rising and falling bass notes, repeated twice, with an ominous vibe. The only problem is that when I try to remember more, my brain jumps tracks to Night on Bald Mountain. I've tried humming the troublesome notes into various apps, but the passage is too short for them to identify.

When I think of these notes, I think of gathering storm clouds. Even though I'm certain this piece is older than movies, perhaps it was played during a movie. I pulled up the Twister soundtrack, and all of those pieces were original music.

Can anyone here think of anything additional that I haven't tried?
