I've heard that by exchanging foreign currencies such as USD with street vendors you get better market rates then with banks.
I was wondering if this would also work with GBP or if i should exchange some GBP to USD before going to Bolivia ?

I will be working as a Bartender for a hostel.
What are the pro's and cons for each ?
Im looking for a truly unique experience i think both have that in contrasting ways. I.e. La Paz's chaos and coulourful grafititi. And Cuscos monumental history.
I get 1 free meal a day at either hostel. And 3 days off a week in each for day trips.
I want the oppurtunity to visit the amazon while here and go on plenty of hikes.
Which would be the best for me (19M, UK)
