My husband and I were ttc for 2-3 cycles and it just wasn’t happening. My cycles are regular but they are around 32-33 days long. I went to a gynaecologist and she did some labs and usg. We found out my AMH is around 0.45 and high prolactin. So she started me on 5mg letrozole for 5 days, monitored my follicles, gave me 3 hMG injections, followed by a trigger shot and advised me timed intercourse. I was also given cabergoline for high prolactin. We conceived and I was put on progesterone supplements, but it ended in a chemical. We were so devastated. Now she wants to start trying again immediately in the next cycle.
I am a little worried and confused if we should start immediately in next cycle or should we sit this one out. Is there no hope for my husband and I to conceive naturally? I am also looking for some hope from people with such low AMH at my age.
