Hi everyone,

I’m a Health Sciences student working on a small research project in Ethiopia focused on HIV disclosure.

I’m currently trying to figure out how to fund the trip (small funding). I’ve looked into university scholarships, but my project doesn’t fully meet the formal requirements as its extra-curricular.

I was wondering if anyone has experience with funding student research abroad:

• Any grants, foundations, or NGOs worth looking into?
• Any ideas how to approach certain organisations?
• Is crowdfunding realistic for something like this?
• Any general tips on where to start?

I'm really passionate about this project and any advice would be really appreciated.
