2014 mx-5. Started making this grinding/scraping noise at low speed. Seems to be coming from the left front, when the car is warm, steering wheel turned to the right (esp abrupt), and completely stops when I press the brakes
Changed pads/rotors prior to a track day. Drove it 1.5 hours to track, fine. After the first session, this noise started when coming pack into the pits
Did 3 more track sessions after the noise started and no issues at all, brake pedal is firm, no fade

Visually nothing obvious seems off. No debris or rocks. I took the caliper off, cleaned everything, put new pad hardware on, and regreased, but didn’t seem to make any difference

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
