Hi, I bought a spool of Anycubic Glow in the Dark PLA but I can't get it to stick to the print bed. Other filaments (eSun, Sunlu, Bambu, Geetech) work well with my A1 mini.
- Didn't work:
- Generic PLA preset
- Bambu PLA Glow preset
- I did these things:
- Initial layer speed: 20 mm/s
- Other layers: 50 mm/s
- Nozzle temperature: 200–230°C
- Bed temperature: 60°C to 80°C
- Switched to Cool Plate Supertack, can't get it to stick a bit on the textured plate
- Cleaned the print bed
- Ran calibration + auto bed leveling before prints
- Dried filament for 8+ hours
- Switched to feeding from dryer
- 0.4 mm hardened steel nozzle (not from Bambu)
Small prints now work with small first layer defects. Larger prints have this wave pattern.
When looking this issue up, some recommend tightening the screw of the nozzle. But it works fine with other filaments, so I'm hesitant to do it. Other options are adjusting the nozzle offset, as they say the nozzle is too close and the filament has nowhere to go. But shouldn't the bed leveling account for that?
Do you have any recommendation?
