My salon had this on clearance for $7 for a packet (originally retailed at like $28 a packet) and I’m so glad I only paid $7 for it because I hated it. I should have known what to expect considering I’ve owned multiple high DHA lotions like this from Devoted Creations before but I have an event this weekend so I was trying to get some extra colour in.
Colour - think of spray tan solution brown - DARK.
Consistency - thin and gel like.
Doesn’t rub in well, takes a lot of effort to rub it in to make it not streaky.
Smell : DHA stink that’s the only smell it has
Colour payoff - it’s all cosmetic and orange like not brown and it pilled all over my legs and just made a mess of my socks (why I chose to wear white socks knowing I was going tanning today is beyond me)
I wouldn’t recommend this at all and I can’t imagine having paid $225 (Canadian) for bottle which is what it was retailing for.
If you’re trying to get instant colour for a special occasion you’re better off just getting a spray tan it’s essentially the same thing but atleast you’ll skip the UV exposure.
