Hello, food allergy sufferers! I’m excited to introduce you to Barcly, my free barcode scanning app for iOS. Beyond scanning, Barcly allows you to view prices and compare products. You can also set your allergens in the settings and check if a product contains any allergens you’re sensitive to. I’ve included photos to demonstrate how it works. What is Barcly?

Barcly is a free iOS barcode scanner (currently beta) that searches 7 databases at once to give you the most complete product info possible.

Scan any barcode and Barcly queries 7 databases in parallel. You get results in seconds: nutrition, scores, ingredients, book details, album info, whatever the product is.

*Barcly Compare: scan two products side by side and get a nutritional verdict based on real data, not AI.

*Barcly Warnings: set your allergens once, get a red alert whenever a product contains them. Ingredient matching works in 10 languages.

History and favorites to find past scans quickly.

Built-in diagnostics to check which databases are working and which aren't.

*What it doesn't do:

No ads. No accounts. No tracking. No data leaves your phone. Everything is stored locally.
