Worth it to get a roof inspection before listing your house?

We’re planning to list our house in the next couple weeks and someone suggested getting the roof inspected before putting it on the market. Is that actually worth doing if we’re not having any issues but roof is about 16 years old? Curious if it helps during the inspection/negotiation process or if most buyers just do their own thing anyway.

Roofing shingles question - class 3 vs class 4? What does this mean and is it worth it?

Our roofer mentioned upgrading us from Class 3 to Class 4 shingles, but I honestly don’t really understand the difference. Is Class 4 actually worth the extra cost in Texas or is it mostly marketing and a way to increase the price?

What should the process be for roof damage? Get quote or file with insurance company first?

New homeowner here and not sure what the first step should be for some roof damage we experienced recently that needs repair/possible replacement. Do I call a roofing company first or go straight to the insurance company, and then they refer someone? Which is the most trusted route here?
