I started a project where my genestealer cult characters all have bits of ultramarine armors on them. Mostly helmet and trashed shoulderpads. My genestealers too have marine shoulderpads.

Now I came up with 3 reasons for this and would like to know wich one would be the better.

1. They are delusional fanatics who really believe they are/ are led by the ultramarines.

2. The cult is aware they are not ultramarines, it's part of the control scheme.

3. They actualy are not looling like ultramarine. If you see them as beautifull (death) angel it means you have been gifted by the patriarch.

I'm starting my first GSC army for a 500 worlds campaign. Want to make a bunch lunatic that thinks they are ultramarines. Making grafiti and tags of white omega on ultramarine blue. I also want to add some broken marine shoulderpad and purity seals.

My problem is the skin color, I want to make it clear they are alien but have no idea wich color would be nice with it.

I'd like something funky, not just color but probably something that reference something. Would be willing to do some light conversion.

Any nice idea?

My list has a ton of heavy bolt pistol, so Coteaz's ignore cover on a target is getting some worth. And the extra CP happens pretty often.

I got a lot of success with the judiciar since the reroll to wounds allows for even more precision+devastating wounds and allow me to use the unit as a heroic intervention treath.

It's gonna be my first big event and I'm not sure wich I should value more.
