I am planning on buying my 1st leather jacket and have set my eyes on a black biker sheepskin leather jacket. It is quite costly and upon research I learnt that sheepskin is really hard to maintain. Would it be unwise to buy a sheepskin leather jacket as a 1st one? I do take really good care of my leather shoes and boots. So I am experienced with leather care. But I am afraid that the leather might tear or scratch easily, as I intend to use it on my daily commute.
