Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade my floor-cleaning setup and could use some help from people who've actually used these things day-to-day.
My apartment has a mix of hardwood floors and tiles (~900 sq ft), with one area rug. I have a small dog, so pet hair is a constant battle. Right now I'm using a basic stick vacuum and a traditional mop bucket combo, and it's just not cutting it.
What I'm looking for:
Good suction for pet hair and fine dust
Ideally a 2-in-1 that can vacuum AND mop, or separate products that complement each other well
Easy to maintain — I don't want to spend 20 minutes cleaning the cleaner
Budget: open to spending up to ₹30,000–₹40,000 if it's genuinely worth it
Reliable after-sales support — warranty service, spare parts availability, and responsive customer care matter a lot to me. I've been burned before by brands that disappear after the sale.
I've been looking at the Dyson V15, Dreame L10s Ultra, and Roborock S8 but the options are overwhelming. Are robot vacuums with mop attachments actually reliable long-term, or is a good stick vacuum + separate wet mop still the safer bet?
A few specific after-sales questions I'd love your input on:
How easy is it to get replacement parts (brushes, filters, batteries) after 1–2 years?
Have you ever had to claim warranty — how was the experience?
Does the brand have local service centres in India, or is everything handled online/courier?
Do apps or firmware updates still work well after a year, for robot models?
