I took the public KTEL bus to Arkotiri today. Handed the conductor a € 20 bill for 2 tickets at € 2.20. She gave me back € 5 and change, as if I had given her a € 10 bill.
I wish I could think it was a mistake. But when I told her I had given her a € 20, she didn’t look surprised. Smirked, then gave me my additional € 10.
Scam. Check your receipt and count your change.
