Thrift Store Restocks??
I’ve been told different things from different people and I want to know what you all think… Usually I find my best times for thrifting to be Tuesday-Friday in the afternoon. I’ve been told getting there right as doors open is the best time, and that you get “first picks,” but every time I go there at open time it’s all the same items as the day before. I usually go to Goodwill, Salvation Army, Saver’s. Do these thrift stores even put inventory out before opening the stores? Is there certain days they put out inventory more frequently?
I also see TikToks of people (who live in the general vicinity as I do) and they’re getting 10+ very good items in the same day, posting near daily. I usually walk out of a thrift store with 0-2 fair items. I usually go about 3-4 times a week since I do have a full-time job, going to multiple thrift stores a day, looking at each item/new racks. Is it just pure luck?
