Hey everyone, hoping someone here has experience with Bosch washing machines.
I have a Bosch Maxx 7 EcoEdition, model E-Nr WAE283ECO/97. After finishing a wash cycle, it was stuck showing 5 minutes remaining for a long time. I assumed it had frozen, so I turned it off manually, hoping that would unlock the door.
When that didn’t work, I used the manual lever at the bottom to unlock the door and retrieve the laundry.
Since then, every time I turn on the machine, it immediately shows error F:26.
From what I’ve found online, this might be related to the air pressure sensor (possibly a fault in water level detection?). I tried cleaning it by blowing through the air tube connected to the sensor, but that didn’t change anything.
So now I’m wondering:
Is the air pressure sensor likely faulty and needs to be replaced?
Could I have triggered a safety fault by manually unlocking the door mid-cycle?
Any way to reset the system or clear the error?
Would appreciate any advice or shared experiences!
