Should I double major in Econ as a DS major?

Since I’m a transfer, I only have about 5 semesters, and double majoring would make my schedule a lot tighter. It might limit my ability to do things like study abroad, work part-time/intern, build finance/data projects, join clubs, or explore other experiences that could also help my career.

I really want to study abroad, but if I double major, I don't think I can fit everything into my schedule. I’m wondering if the Econ double major would actually be worth it, or if it would be better to just major in Data Science and use the extra time for internships, projects, networking, or study abroad.

For people who have double majored, especially as transfers, do you feel like it was worth it? And for people going into finance, does having Econ as a second major matter much compared to experience/projects?
