The arrival of this "67" meme is rather unusual. In 2023, Australia raised their retirement age from 66 to 67, followed by the Netherlands in 2024, and most recently in April this year the UK began the same transition. What better way is there to ensure this goes smoothly other than to make the topic literally impossible to talk about without being mocked, undermined and not taken seriously? Imagine being a teacher right now and attempting to warn the younger generations of this, there isn't a chance in hell you'll be taken seriously. I fear we are heading towards a future where any given topic has a dozen different internet references that make it almost impossible to hold a coherent, critical conversation, and where the very pioneers of this will be the ones who directly suffer from it. But anyway, sixxxxxx sevennnnn!!!!
