I am a mid-weight user of Vinted and have bought and sold for about three years. My most recent purchases were in April and I also made a sale in April. I always get delivery to a locker because my flat has no safe place and I'm not always in. No problems there.
I bought a bunch of items for a new job, on the evening of 4th May. A seller messaged me quickly to say "could you update your address, I'm getting an error message when I attempt to generate a shipping label". I think, that's odd but okay. Go to my settings and see that everything is correct but delete it and re-enter just in case.
A flurry of messages come in, and some sellers just straight up cancel my order. Frustrating but I understand sellers can't hang about. Everybody says the same thing. One helpful seller contacts Vinted support for help and gets the same automated message about adding a correct address. I email the legal team for advice as suggested by a Google search. I open a ticket. I've got reams and reams of messages talking to a chatbot that insists my house must have picked up bricks and moved.
What on earth do I do? I don't have another address and I'm not going to be gaslit into believing my address is incorrect when it was used successfully only a few weeks ago?
