I graduated with a masters in accounting and I have been unemployed for 3 months, and an opportunity came up to be a payee, but I am not sure if is relevant experience towards becoming a staff accountant or AP/AR clerk later on.
If you are unfamiliar with what a payee does they manage disabled peoples finances like paying bills, transferring money, and keeping records. The reason why I am considering this is because the description mentioned updating the general ledger for the clients, which is the most accounting related task.
Should I consider taking this job or wait for something more accounting related?
