Hi! I had my first Botox procedure yesterday under GA. Symptoms after haven’t been too bad so far but the worst thing I’m dealing with is that my uvula is pretty red, elongated, and the tip of it is purple - I think more due to the intubation than the actual procedure itself. I felt it within 5 minutes of waking up from anesthesia and it’s been pretty uncomfortable since I can feel it hitting my tongue and it’s making it nearly impossible to speak. My understanding is this isn’t super common, and my doctor prescribed me steroids today, but was wondering if other people had (hopefully easy) experiences with healing this.
