How to mute unprocessed audio for streaming in OBS?

I have set ReaStream as a filter on my microphone in OBS and it's receiving audio from Reaper. However on recording I can clearly hear both the unprocessed input from the microphone and the output of the processed audio from Reaper.

I tried various monitoring options in OBS, but I cannot seem to avoid the doubling issue. Even with monitoring set to off in OBS for the microphone.

Desktop audio is also off in OBS.

Routing in Reaper is set to not hear the master track. Monitoring is on for track 1, which seems to be required for the effects to be sent via ReaStream.

The audio sounds great if in Reaper natively, but I cannot use application audio in OBS unless I want to hear myself singing in my own ears on a delay., which as you can imagine makes singing nearly impossible.

Any suggestions?

ETA: I think I need to use a program to create a virtual audio cable and use that to connect Reaper and OBS. But I've no idea how I might do that.

I'm new to Reaper and I want to use it to add reverb for streaming. I've tried using ReaStream with OBS and that doesn't work at all (even with audio monitoring on in Reaper).

I did manage to get the reverb working as application audio in OBS but the catch is that it only works if I have the audio monitor on in Reaper. That's fine until I get to a song where the timing matches the delay so well that I vapor lock for a few extra seconds completely throwing the timing of the song off.

It's a shot in the dark, but please someone tell me there's a fix for this.

OS Windows 11

Reaper 7.69

OBS 32.1.1

I'm still evaluating and I can't decide if this is a deal breaker if I can't fix it. It would be great to know before the evaluation period is up.

P.S. yes I tried every Google suggestion I could find first. Nothing else works.
