A thought experiment on names
I thought it would be an interesting idea to go through the names of some of our important characters and see just how much we could learn about them and their names through the games alone.
**William Afton**
One of the few characters from the original games to have both their first and last name explicitly said. His full name is in the FFPS credits but he’s also been semi name dropped via Mr. Afton in SL and W.A in SOTM
**Elizabeth and Michael**
Both share similar situations, their first names are revealed in FFPS and SL respectively, their last names are never explicitly stated but they’re both heavily implied to be Aftons
**Henry**
While Henry’s name has never properly been shown in the games we’re pretty solidly able to piece together their name via HRY in FFPS and Hen in SOTM
**Vanessa**
Originally nameless in HW she quickly got her first name in AR and Security Breach. No confirmed last name but AR implies it starts with an A and there an implications she might be an Afton
**Gregory, Cassie, The Murrays**
All named in their introductions, no last names for Gregory and Cassie though
**The MCI minus Golden Freddy**
All seemingly shown in the lorekeeper ending although none are directly tied to the animatronics without parallels related to fnaf 3’s bad ending and outside media
**Charlie/The Puppet**
The name Charlie has never been uttered within the games themselves. CharlieDoor exists in SB but seems to have little ties to the Puppet
**Cassidy/The Fifth MCI**
Never properly named in the games. Cassidy used to be the file name of the princess but that was removed leaving nothing
**Bite Victim**
There’s nothing, no sign of this kid’s name anywhere. Even with alternate material the best their are is a theoretical solution in the log book and Mike Schmidt’s brother from the movies since he seems to have connections to BV
