Research as Rising Freshman

interest in doing phd and need almost immediate research on campus, any ideas to get it or professors that accept rising freshman for bio/med? no need to get paid (but would love it) or even a clinical job (im a certified medical assistant)

Guilt about attending Hopkins

Kind of the title, but I didn't receive any need-based aid from Hopkins (my family makes like just slightly over the amount to get financial aid) and no merit aid either, not that I was even expecting to get in, forget Hodson or anything. I've tried appealing, but it was rejected. My family is fine with paying, like they have always pushed me to pursue my dreams and passion without worrying about the cost, but I feel so guilty for making them pay that amount like 95k a year. I'm pre-med, and want to do MD-PhD so it's even worse because they would have to pay for that too and my sister (maybe)

Nothing I can do about it I mean I've committed and everything, but I was just so excited to come here that I kind of didn't think of the feasibility of it.

Advice? Or tbh any financial advice for financing loans because we also don't qualify for federal loans (to my knowledge)?
