Extended stay in US from 2 weeks to 45 days on ESTA, when can i return?
I visited my girlfriend in the US on ESTA which was for an originally planned 2 week trip, we did a cruise, which had left the US and re-entered via Miami. On return to Miami my return flight was originally booked 5 days after, it was a flexible return because I was undecided if I wanted to spend extra time with her, I told CBP i was leaving on the date at the time for which the flight was booked. The day after I decided to extend the flight & trip by 30 days, in that time we did some extra tourist activities and visited some other states. Then i flew back home. Now I want to fly out 4 months after that trip to see her for 2 weeks, so there will be a 4 month gap.
Can easily prove strong ties to my home country, mortgage, utility bills, job etc. But worried about my credibility with CBP, is it best to just stay out of the US for longer and not return at all this year or does it not really matter because it's been a 4 months gap?
