I stay in California and have $40k in credit card debt and $12k in car loan. I only make $30k a year and I want to quit this job and get a second job and start saving instead of working for 2 years trying to pay off the credit card balance. Would Chapter 7 be a good choice for me? I'm also filing taxes late and the estimated refund is $11k with 2 kids. Will the bankruptcy take that away? Will they take the car too?
