I had two cats (unrelated but lives in the same household) that both had FISS. We had a biopsy and histopathology done to diagnose this tumor for both cats. One of them was a neutered male 11 years old when he was diagnosed and the tumor was between his scapula. The other one was a spayed female 13 years old when she was diagnosed and the tumor was on her right thoracic flank (my guess was that they vaccinated her wherever they could because she is a spicy cat). I know that getting this cancer is rare to get but to get it with two different cats? I just wanted to know if there could be other factors (environmental-specific to my home, or vaccination type) as to why they both got this cancer or did I just get really unlucky?

Should I be worried with my two living cats (one of which has had a history of vaccine reactions)?
