Kind of a rant, kind of a question. ANY input is appreciated…. I’m tired of listening to the complaining about the lag and always dying, but NEVER trying to fix it 🫠

(Intel i7-10700F, GeForce RTX3050, 16gb ram, 1.38tb storage - Alienware r11) Experiencing packet loss around 5-7 percent, and insane ping spikes. Reconnection notifications when encountering players specifically. Basically unplayable at 4/4 bars of connection.

(In the same room - Intel i5-10400, Radeon RX 9060 XT, 32gb ram, 932gb storage) Regular occasional lag, Reconnection notification maybe once every 30 games despite sitting at 2-3/4 bars of connection. Essentially zero issues when gaming, no matter the game.

“Internet speed tests” are fine until the game is running, which causes the occasional spike of up to 250mbps. We have adjusted textures, disabled killerware, adjusted overlay and updated drivers - nearly the whole list of troubleshooting. I went as far as getting a new internet service entirely. I would like to avoid hardwired connection for a few reasons, and we have played for years fine without it, but seems to be one of our only options left.

I do believe this is the computer itself (Alienware), as no issues were had prior to purchasing it last year. That, and *my* computer in the same room runs these games perfectly fine, but even when playing at the same time!

Something similar but a different game - we cannot play PUBG at the same time on the same internet connection. I have to turn my WiFi off and back on for him to be able to enter the match lobby. This also makes me wonder if it is a WiFi driver issue.
