Arturia AudioFuse Issue Resolved
I’ve recently turned on the device (16rig) for the first time and everything seemed normal, until I plugged it into my MacBook, opened the AFCC software and got a message that it needs an update like any other software, I clicked ok, renamed the device and changed it from 44.1 to 48, then without anything the hardware turns off! My heartbeat increased of course and didn’t know what to do.. contacted the support team, never got a reply up til now.. then after lots of searching and searching, I tried to force reboot the device, nothing was happening, the front screen was totally dead, even the knobs I didn’t if they were working or not.. all the front panel was dead.. but fortunately the back red lights was on, and when I turn it off it turns off.. so that was a good sign.. then the Mac was able to read the device normally.. then it wasn’t at a certain point… Gave up like half a day, tried again, reinstalled the AFCC software.. everything was absolutely the same.. then at one point I tried to reconnect it again for one last time, and guess what? The software out of nothing gave me a message finally: This firmware version (1.0.0.65535) is out of date. Please update it. I was not fully sure actually if I should do it or things would get worse.. But fortunately the hardware opened again like something has never happened. Bad experience? Absolutely, but everything is normal now. If you have something similar right now, do not panic! Everything will be okay.
