I just came here to say, timelines change. If you’ve gotten a timeline from a reader, what you do in that timeline as it relates to your situation does have an effect. Simple questions to your reader, such as “What should or shouldn’t I be doing” go a long way while you’re waiting for movement.
I see way too many people speaking badly after something predicted doesn’t happen. Follow instructions, be patient, trust the process or just let it go entirely
