So I live on the second floor of an entire concrete building. But the people above me have 2 kids that are CONSTANTLY running around, jumping off furniture, screaming, etc. I reported it to the office who said they talked to the mom who then proceeded to have her and her husband stomp around for the next week as “punishment” I guess. As it’s warmed up they like to leave their balcony door open and run in and out, as well as push things through the cracks to drop on me so I can’t even sit on my balcony anymore. This has continued on for months and it is infuriating. It starts at about 5:30 in the morning and goes all day until 10-11 pm, except when they nap at around 1 pm (since it’s literally the only time it stops for 30 minutes to an hour). It can be so loud that you can hear it from the other side when I’m on a phone call or FaceTime. I don’t know what else to do, I feel like I have been so so patient and kind for letting it go on for MONTHS but I’m at my wits end. I literally have videos that I’ve shown the office people of where you can hear them running around. I get that they’re kids but like I swear these parents don’t even pay any attention to them nor tell them to quit or quiet down. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions??
P.s. I’m partially deaf with about 60% hearing loss and don’t wear my hearing aids when I’m at home, so it’s gotta be hella loud for me to hear it but I also can feel the vibrations.
