Mom therapists

I’ve been in the field for about 17 years, fully licensed for 13 now. I’ve seen and heard a lot and have focused on trauma work mostly. I’ve noticed how I move differently than other parents and how carefree some moms/parents seem and wondering if this is unique to me or a phenomenon on the field we work in. Certain things make me feel more hypervigilent it seems than others around me. I think I am more overprotective because of the work we do with so many clients and specific high risk populations. It’s hard when other parents don’t appear to understand or have heard and been submersed in what we are. Just here for discussion or to vent. Sometimes I feel different from many other carefree parents that don’t seem to worry about all of the things and situations that I do likely because of all the trauma work I have done with my clients and the whys of it all. Anyone else?
