Hi everyone!

I'm brand new to D&D, almost done reading the 2024 PHB but haven't played any adventures yet. I bought the Wolves of Langston solo adventure for my first play through, but having no idea what happens in the story, I was wondering if I'd still be able to use a Sidekick character alongside my own for it, or if it would make the mechanics too unbalanced given it's specifically designed for one character? I have a great idea for a sidekick and his backstory, but don't want to accidentally break the game.

I'm also reading DM Yourself to try Stormwreck Isle after, but that's all for party-designed campaigns.

Really appreciate any help! Hard to navigate everything being new😅
