So I’ve had a VNS placed in I think 2015. It has done nothing to help my seizures. It did cause Trigeminal Neuralgia which has been excruciating. Then I had brain surgery in 2019. They removed part of my right temporal lobe. The tail of my hippocampus and my amygdala. My memory has been shit since and I recently found out I’m in cognitive decline. I’m only 38. Still having seizures 😭 now they want to do another SEEG to see why I’m still having seizures on my right side (they think it’s scar tissue left over from my surgery) and why it moved to the left side of my brain. Because apparently seizures can move to other areas. I’m on the highest dose of Lacosamide and Zonisamide. I’m exhausted of this happening! Can anyone relate??
