Hey everyone,

I’m newer to this side of the industry and trying to understand how people actually deal with panel documentation in the real world.

How common is it for schematics to be outdated, missing, or not match what’s actually in the panel?

When changes get made in the field, do the drawings usually get updated properly, or does that kind of fall through the cracks?

Also, when troubleshooting, do techs rely heavily on schematics, or do people mostly trace wires and figure it out manually?

Just trying to get a better sense of whether managing panel docs is a real pain point or just something I’m overthinking.
