Im newly diagnosed with bipolar and im coming down from my first manic episode. Its been 6 months now and im still having to limit how much I work. My rountine used to be i work all day then shower go to bed do it all over again. Because of some mal practice at a unit I now have two half routines. Im working for 3 hours in the morning and then sitting around resting the rest of the day piddling or playing video games. My psychiatrist thinks it is cabin fever. What can I do until later, whatever that looks like.

Im newly diagnosed with Bipolar in my last and first manic episode I had psychotic features. While recovering and on higher doses of medication I slept 9 to 7 and lately it started getting to where I wake up earlier and earlier just by an hour. Then I started falling asleep later. Have been sleeping 10 to 6 then it was 9 to 5 this past week. Then yesterday or a day ago it was 10 to 5 tonight im up at 11 and I dont feel like I could fall asleep but I dont feel super energetic like my first manic episode could I be entering hypomania? Is this a warning sign since my sleep is shorting a little bit? I probably won't fall asleep until 12 tonight and I know I will wake back up at 5 or 6. Its happened ever since psychosis. I always wake.up at 6
