Squeaking noise
GOLF SPORTWAGEN SQUEALING SOUND ON FRONT LEFT
Got a 16 Golf Sportwagen, got my brakes and rotors replaced months ago and maybe a month or so ago I start getting this squeaking/squealing noise. Its on and off, while I hear it sometimes (usually at lower speeds) and it becomes more apparent when I am turning left. While driving I press on the brakes and it starts to go away (not all the time though). I know its not the brake pads or rotors, it could possibly be a bad part but idk. I lifted it up and I check the dust shield, it is not rubbing or anything, I put it in drive, kept turning the wheel, speeding up and hitting the brakes while it was lifted up and no sound. As soon as I put it back down I hear it again as I am moving the car. I have no idea what it could be.
