It’s honestly heartbreaking to see how quickly people come together for animals needing surgery or placement, but when I post about a child at my school, someone who may be facing homelessness, it gets overlooked. As a social worker, I’m advocating for real children in crisis. Over 700 people viewed the post, and not even a share. That’s hard to understand. These kids need us too.

Can somebody order my kids something to eat please. We legit have nothing in here.
Life has a way of humbling you when you least expect it. Right now my family is going through a difficult season after a sudden job loss, and we’re doing everything we can to stay afloat. I never imagined I’d be in a position to ask for help like this, but here I am choosing humility over pride.
I created a GoFundMe to help us cover rent and keep stability for my children during this time. If you’re able to give, no matter the amount, it would truly mean more than I can put into words. If you can’t donate, sharing this post could reach someone who can.
I’m holding on to faith and trusting that God will make a way, but I also believe in the power of community and people showing up for one another. Thank you to anyone who reads this, supports, or even just keeps us in your prayers. ❤️
