I took a couple of high school technical theatre classes and I really like it. My original plan for college was to go for civil engineering but now I'm unsure of if I should pursue technical theatre at all. I can't find much on the statistics of employment rate of any tech positions and don't see much on linkedin or indeed. I was also thinking about taking technical engineering as a minor. Do I need to pursue a degree in theatre tech to go into that career field? and another question, can I move from theatre to civil if I wanted to? If anyone can give me some info on what they see in the industry it'd be awesome!
