I had a total hysterectomy (kept ovaries) and extensive endometriosis excision (including needing bilateral uteretic stents for 3 weeks) 5 weeks ago.
My orgasms are as they were before (clitoral stimulation, build up feels the same) except the release lasts about a second and it's over. Before I used to have quite strong, long wave like contractions that could last up to 15 seconds.
Is this it now? 😭
I had a total 4.5 weeks ago (kept ovaries) along with pretty extensive endometriosis excision. My recovery has generally been fine, pain is low etc and up to today, mentally felt fine.
I started back at work yesterday (wfh nothing mentally or physically taxing) and today, out of nowhere i got hit with overwhelming anxiety and emotional issues.
It feels similar to how I felt when I came off the pill a few years ago and after I had my child.
Is this a hormonal resetting issue and is it normal?
I'm 40 and was in very early peri prior to my op so not near menopause yet.
