Hello there, need a little help for my 3 inch 1s 18650 analog elrs toothpick cruiser build. For a bit of context, i fly fpv for about 3 years, converted the cetus x to a carbon frame, exchanged parts, still fly this rig, built a custom 5 incher and a cinewhoop.
The goal for this build is a longrange long-flighttime cruiser with good video range and picture quality, so clean feed and good cam specs and a gps.
parts I chose so far:
- crux3 frame (no canopy yet)
- JHEMCU G474ELRS AIO (15A)
- Beitian BE122 (gps, I dont know if it gets any lighter than ~4g? + cheap)
- caddx baby ratel (for good cam specs, as it has a bigger censor for 14mm, are there better ones? I only experienced caddx ant as 14mm cam)
- RUSH tiny tank (has pretty good signal quality, best for weight and size?)
- HappyModel EX1202.5 1202.5 6400KV (for now in my shopping cart)
- FOXEER Lollipop U.FL Antenna 5.8G
- Molicel INR18650-P30B 30A 3000mah
my main questions:
- which motorsize, KV for efficient cruising, is 6400KV too low? How far should I go for efficiency
- is xt30 smart in this case or is bt2.0 enough? I see a lot of examples that use bt2.0
- should i switch to the 5in1 matrix for the weight? Or how much would video range/quality decrease
thanks for answers, maybe you have experience in this type of build and can help me... : )
