I'm interested in a career that feels more like a job. I want really mediocre working conditions: rain, sleet, and hail. Risk of death is a plus as well. I want to get up at 4:00 AM 5-6 days/week MINIMUM. All the union lists are full in the local 73, so I'm thinking of working non-union for minimum wage or going into debt for a training program. Is this a good sub to learn more about how to get started, or would there be a better one?
