I’m writing this at 4:00 AM because I’m honestly starting to doubt my own reality.

I just finished the head for my MG Zeta Gundam Ver. Ka. It’s a great build sharp, detailed, and I was feeling that post-build high. I reached for another kit to do a head confrontation: holding the Zeta head in my right hand and the other Gunpla in my left.

Suddenly, the Zeta head slipped. I heard it. That distinct clack-ping sound of plastic hitting a hard surface. It dropped from my hand, over my working desk, and just… vanished. Into thin air.

I’ve spent the last hour tearing my room apart. I searched the desk all around and every inch of the floor. I’ve looked under the baseboards and inside my own shoes. It’s gone. It’s like it hit a domestic black hole the second it touched the ground.

The only reason I know I’m not dreaming is that I took a picture of it during the build process to show off the progress (attached). If I hadn't taken that photo, I’d think I imagined the last three hours of work.

Has anyone else dealt with this? A part drops, you hear the impact, but the universe just decides to keep it? I’m exhausted, I’m confused, and I’m officially haunted by a headless Zeta...
