Have just posted another thread and really appreciate everyone's advice.

But I just want to check- there already seems to be weep holes properly punched into the upvc frame but in addition to this, there have been areas cut out leading into the original weep holes.

I just wang to confirm this is still correct (albeit not brilliantly done).

I've just had some windows fitted but have noticed that on every single upvc frame there is an area that seems to be cut out / shaved. None of my previous windows have this.

Does anyone know what this is for?
