I am like those guys who only like asian women. Only I am into Indian women.

I strongly realize having any sort of racial preference is weird and strange

And Obviously it depends on individual circumstances and chemistry. I wouldn’t date someone just because they’re Indian. The only Indian woman I have been on a date with was one of the worst dates I’ve had in recent memory.

But I do think I am generally more attracted to Indian women compared to any other race and idk why. I think they’re very pretti lol

In a bad situation, considering breaking a contract early

Just as my title here says, I am currently thinking about leaving a 2 year contract early because of manipulative and verbally abusive behavior from middle management.

I don’t want to hash out details, but suffice to say the individual responsible for this behavior is well known among staff at our school for this sort of thing and they burn through teachers like mad. A few colleagues who joined with me are also leaving the contract early, one of them has been teaching internationally for 11 years and said this is the most unhealthy environment he’s seen (granted this is one persons opinion of course).

I’ve started shopping around for jobs this week and have already gotten quite a few interview requests and some round 2 interviews for next week.

What is causing me to pause is that this is my first job abroad, so I don’t want to mess up my trajectory. I have a masters in teaching and a license, but not much in way of experience.

But recently my health has gone downhill, I’m over eating/stress eating, don’t have much time in the evenings because I’m planning for the next day, and my work load has gotten to be insane with more courses than my contract states, assemblies to plan, endless admin tasks that are pointless and seem punitive, etc.

I miss having evenings free. Worst case I could go back to my home country and be a teacher there. Ideally, I would like to stay abroad though.

What does everyone here think though, would leaving early be a death knell for my career? I’ve really tried to push through difficulty but I’m at a breaking point with it.
