i've run into a dilemma recently- i've been really into fashion for a good while now, formalwear ESPECIALLY.. but i also live in one of the most casual countries ever (The UAE) and i work a remote job. to add on to this, im also fairly middle class and don't get invited to much "Dress-up" occasions.. and all venues which would warrant wearing nice clothes are out of my price range..
i've been interested in getting a single-breasted three-piece (burgundy jacket & slacks with a black waistcoat) - whether or not ill get a brooch depends on how it'll affect the formality (would like advice on this)
should i still get a suit?? would it be worth the investment? could i wear it out to regular old restaurants without looking or feeling overdressed?
my mom's pretty restrictive with my fashionwear so i need reasons to excuse buying one aside from "I think they look nice"
