It’s been really hard to find a green Indian Ringneck. Almost every one I’ve come across has been blue. This one feels like my last chance, but I do really like the ring that males develop.

This would be my first bird and they’re about a year old. I’m curious how much their appearance might change from here, if at all. I love the yellow tones underneath, but I was hoping for a brighter green. I feel a little bad even saying that. I’ve just spent the last two years researching and had a specific look in mind for my first bird. Of course I’m going to love them regardless. I’d just appreciate any input from people with experience on how their coloring/talking behavior might develop over time.
